I bought a new 95 SC2 back in the day. It was really a fun car with a manual.

Lots of noises and the engine sound isn’t very pleasing but it was a good, fun car.

I think it sounds like a Honda. The exhaust is broken right before the muffler, so it doesn’t sound wonderful, but it’s certainly better than either of my VWs.

The revs climbs super fast, the shifter is notchy and light, and the clutch has a infinitely smaller friction zone than the VWs. So far it feels like a video game, especially with the seat tilted back so it feels like I’m lying down, which is the most comfortable driving position so far.

oh my god it’s so fun. I spun the fronts a few times on accident with my mom in the car. She was not pleased, especially with the bad front suspension. Needs struts.

Definitely needs some suspension work. It’ll be a dream if you do that. I just couldn’t justify it knowing I would be buying a new car soon.

ooh yeah. Especially with Dayton roads being what they are. It really isn’t as bad as my Jetta, especially with the seats being more cushion-y, but I will be doing some work to suspension in the not-too-distant future.

Now test drive an Ion Red Line. The Ions were crap, but the Red Line was a complete blast even with colossal torque steer.

It gets a little raucous above 4 grand, but is fine below that.

Seating, clutch and shifter are great - and it’s really light and kissable. Enjoy!
